Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has publicly expressed frustration over Burna Boy's lack of response following a generous ₦20 million gift. The gift was reportedly given to Portable after his victory over Speed Darlington in a celebrity boxing match.​

In a recent video, Portable lamented that despite the substantial monetary gift, Burna Boy has not acknowledged his messages or calls. He emphasized that they have never communicated directly, and he does not possess Burna Boy's contact information. Portable stated, "Person wey give me 20 million never reply me for Instagram before, I dey call am, he no pick, e no follow me, I no get him number and yet he gave me money. Why he dey stingy with his replies?"

Portable further expressed that a musical collaboration with Burna Boy would be more valuable to him than the cash gift, suggesting that such a feature would have a more significant impact on his career.

The ₦20 million gift from Burna Boy followed Portable's technical knockout victory over Speed Darlington in a boxing match held at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos. The match was sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control. Portable's win was seen by many as a continuation of the ongoing feud between Burna Boy and Speed Darlington. 

Despite the generous gift, Burna Boy has yet to publicly respond to Portable's messages or acknowledge his requests for collaboration.
