Enyimba FC is set to receive a significant boost as veteran striker Brown Ideye returns to training after a minor injury. Ideye, who has missed the team's last two league matches, has resumed personal training and is expected to be fully fit soon, according to Enyimba's media officer, David Orji.
Since joining Enyimba, the 36-year-old former Super Eagles forward has made four league appearances, scoring one goal. His return comes at a crucial time as Enyimba prepares to host league leaders Remo Stars in a week 24 fixture at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on Sunday.
Enyimba currently sits in eighth position on the league table with 31 points. The return of Ideye is anticipated to bolster their attacking options as they aim to climb higher in the standings.
