American celebrity couple Chance the Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Corley, announced that they are getting divorced.
The couple, who announced this in a joint statement shared via the rapper’s Instagram account on Wednesday, said that they decided after a period of separation.
According to the statement, they will take joint legal custody of their daughters.
“After a period of separation, the two of us have decided to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.
“God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together,” the statement partly read.
The couple welcomed their first child together, Kensil, in 2015, when they were still dating.
They broke up in 2016 but reconciled in 2018 and got married in March 2019.
